Part L1A Guidance

As part of the UK’s commitment to combat climate change, revisions to Part L of the Building Regulations came in to force as from 6 April 2006 which deliver improved energy standards for new build and existing buildings.

Part L1A for construction of new dwellings, sets out a package of measures to reduce carbon emission of dwellings by 20% over the 2002 Regulations, using an integrated whole-building design method.

Our solutions deliver excellent thermal performance and air tightness.

Both are key factors in achieving the 2006 revisions to Part L of the Building Regulations. These revisions set improved standards for energy savings and carbon emissions, using an integrated whole-building design method.
